Open Casting Calls This Week (12–18 October 2026)
This week’s open casting calls: a West End musical seeking young performers by self-tape, a paid student film in Virginia, and Butlin’s open auditions across the UK.
How we choose listings
- We link to the original announcement from the production, casting director, theatre, festival or official platform, so you always apply at the source.
- We only include calls with a clear role description, a named production or company, and a deadline.
- We never include castings that ask actors to pay to audition or to be considered.
- We favour calls that accept self-tapes or are open internationally, so you can apply wherever you live.
Details can change after we publish. Always read the full announcement and check eligibility, location, dates and pay before applying.
Stay safe: how to spot a fake casting
- Never pay to audition. Legitimate castings do not charge registration, audition or “processing” fees.
- Check who is casting. Look for a real production, a named casting director or company, and a professional website or email address.
- Protect your personal data. Do not send ID documents, bank details or your home address with a first application.
- Be careful with private meetings. Auditions should take place in professional settings or by self-tape. Bring someone with you if anything feels off.
- Minors: any casting for under-18s should go through a parent or guardian at every step.
- If it sounds too good to be true (a lead role with no audition, huge pay for little work), it probably is.
